For agencies, consultancies and software teams
Bring us in when the build is the hard part.
We build software for agencies and consultancies under their own name. You keep the client. We hand over code your team can read.
Why partners call us
You won the work. Now someone has to build it.
Most of the agencies we work with get stuck at the same point. The design is signed off and there is no one free to write the backend.
We take that part, we stay through the handover, and we do not pitch your client.
Lands on your desk
- A client wants an integration nobody on the team has touched
- A contractor left and nobody remaining knows how the code works
- The phase is sold and your only free engineer starts next quarter
How we work
Three ways to work together
Pick the one that matches how close you want us to the client. It can change per project.
White label build
We build under your name, with your project manager in front of the client. We will join your Slack and your standups if that is easier.
- Your brand
- Your PM
Referral
Send us the work that does not fit your shop. We pay a referral fee on what we bill in the first year, and we tell you what we quoted.
- No delivery risk
Rescue and handover
A project has stalled, or you have inherited code nobody wants to touch. We read it, tell you what is worth keeping, then fix or replace the rest.
- Read first
- Then quote
What you get
What we commit to
Named engineers
You know who is on your project and you talk to them directly. Nobody gets swapped out mid phase to cover a deadline somewhere else.
Code you can take over
Tests, an accurate readme, and no clever abstraction that only works while we are still here. Handover is part of the job.
Priced by phase
A fixed price for a scoped phase, so you can quote your client without padding for our overruns.
Your client stays yours
Mutual NDA before we see anything. We do not approach your clients, and we will not quote them directly while we are working with you.
Fit
Who this suits, and who it does not
A good fit
- Design studios whose client then asks who is building it
- Consultancies who have written the recommendation and need it built
- Software companies with one roadmap piece that keeps slipping
- Teams who want the code readable after we leave
Not this
- Design and brand work
- Native mobile apps
- A spec handed over with no contact for three months
We also turn down work we think will be unmaintainable whatever we charge for it.
Getting started
From a call to a standing arrangement.
No deck and no procurement process. You can stop after any of them.
Step 01
A call, no deck
Half an hour on what you sell, what keeps landing on your desk, and whether we are any use. If we are not, we will say so.
Step 02
One small paid piece
A scoped phase on a real project. You find out how we write code and how we behave when something goes wrong, before anything big depends on it.
Step 03
A standing arrangement
Rates, notice periods and who does what, written down once so the next project does not need renegotiating.
