HubSpot development in Scotland
AppBespoke is a Glasgow-based team that writes code against HubSpot for businesses across Scotland and the UK: custom-coded workflow actions, UI extensions, serverless functions, and integrations with QuickBooks, Xero, Shopify, Stripe and in-house systems. We also take over portals that have grown messy and make them safe to change again.

What we do in HubSpot
The work we are asked for most, and what goes into each one.
Custom-coded workflow actions and serverless functions
Logic HubSpot's workflow actions don't have: calculations, lookups in your other systems, conditional routing and generated documents. Built as HubSpot projects in TypeScript, in your GitHub, with tests.

- Tests
- Loom walkthrough
UI extensions and CRM cards
Data from your other systems on the contact, company or deal record, and buttons that do real work, such as issuing a refund. Built on HubSpot's current developer platform.
- React
- Contact, company and deal records
- Permission checks
QuickBooks, Xero, Shopify and Stripe integrations
Field mapping, dedupe and merge rules, a back-sync of historical records, and an alert when a sync fails. If HubSpot's native connector already does the job, we say so.
- Field mapping
- Dedupe rules
- Back-sync
- Failure alerts
Portal rescue
Inherited portals with hundreds of properties and forgotten workflows. A read-only review first, then fixes in an agreed order, with everything exported before it changes.
- Read-only first
- Full export
- Agreed order
AI automation on HubSpot
Agents and scripts that read and write CRM records: call summaries, enrichment and lead routing. Structured output, strict scopes, and a log of every action so you can see why it acted.
- Structured output
- Scoped private app
- Action log
What we have built
LLM APIs · Workflows · TypeScript
LLM answer tracker
A weekly job that sends a fixed set of questions to several LLM APIs, has a model sort each answer into structured fields, and stores the results for reporting.
Start with a portal review
Read-only access through a private app with read scopes, so nothing changes while we look. Written findings on objects and properties (dead, duplicate, misused), workflows (inactive, overlapping, failing actions, notifications to deactivated users), integrations and their sync errors, data quality, API usage and limits, and security (seats, super admins, unaccepted invites). Then a prioritised fix list with effort ranges. If work starts within 60 days, the £750 comes off the first invoice.
We build in fixed-scope phases and show you the work every week. The code is in your repository from day one.
- We work UK hours and answer questions the same day.
- UK contract, invoiced in pounds.
- We can meet you in person in Glasgow.
- You talk to the person who writes the code.

Questions people ask
Do you configure HubSpot, or write code for it?
Both, but the work on this page is code: workflow actions, UI extensions, integrations and scripts. For pure portal configuration we will tell you if a HubSpot admin is the cheaper answer.
Our HubSpot and QuickBooks (or Xero, Shopify, Stripe) sync is wrong. Can you fix it?
Usually. The portal review finds whether the native connector can be configured to do it, or whether you need custom mapping, dedupe rules or a back-sync script. If the native connector will do, we say so.
Can you take over a HubSpot portal another agency set up?
Yes. We start with a read-only review, export everything before changing it, and fix things in an agreed order.
What does it cost?
The portal review is £750 plus VAT. Custom-coded items are fixed-price from £2,000, integrations from £1,950, and the developer retainer is £1,200 or £2,000 a month. Everything is quoted in writing before work starts.
How do we get started?
Book a 30-minute call, or email us. If it fits, the next step is the portal review for £750 plus VAT, credited against the first invoice if work starts within 60 days.
